Framing St Albans is a beginner-friendly 2-hour photography walk through historic St Albans. We'll explore composition techniques including framing, leading lines, and working with natural light. We'll photograph St Albans Cathedral, Verulamium Park, and the historic centre. This class develops visual awareness and helps you compose stronger images. Suitable for beginners - no prior experience required.

This meet-up will explore how we can take beautiful portraits using natural light and backgrounds. We will explore how to recognise flattering light and how to manipulate it whilst shooting in a less controlled environment than a studio. We will explore how we can work collaboratively with our subject to achieve a portrait that captures their personality and style. We will also look at posing and setting your subject at ease. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones.

It is not possible to capture great images without an awareness of light and how it produces amazing photographs. In this workshop we will work with natural daylight and reflectors to catch the best natural light.
